The whole loop
Hardware and software, explained together — click any step to see that exact moment come to life.
A weatherproof device with an AI sensor watches for presence on-site. When someone's nearby it's ready to play — processed on the device, privacy-first, no images stored.
HardwareYou upload, record, and organize your audio spots in the Channel Cast dashboard, then assign them to a device or an ad space — all from your browser.
SoftwareYour chosen spot is pushed to the cloud, queued and ready to sync to the right devices in seconds — no USB sticks, no site visits.
Software → NetworkThe spot lands on the devices at your booked ad space and plays the moment the sensor detects a real, present audience — the hardware and software working as one.
Hardware + SoftwareThe loop
Sense
A USB webcam (software vision) or PIR sensor detects presence at the space.
Play
The device plays the scheduled spot, respecting play windows and cooldowns.
Match
On vision devices, the spot is matched to how many people are nearby.
Measure
Every play is reported live — motion vs scheduled, by device and audience.
Setup
Add the device
Register it in the dashboard to get a claim code and a one-line install command.
Run one command
Paste the command into PowerShell on the mini-PC — it installs and connects automatically.
Send audio & go
Add spots from your library, set a schedule or motion mode, and it starts playing.
Data flow
A spot managed in the dashboard lands on the devices at your ad space — in seconds.
Devices
AI vision (USB webcam)
On-device computer vision counts who's present and enables audience-aware campaigns. Privacy-first — no images are stored or uploaded.
PIR motion sensor
A low-cost sensor triggers playback on any movement. Simple and inexpensive to deploy widely.
What you control

Upload, record, and assign spots to any device or group.
Scheduling
Play windows, cooldowns, and per-device deployments.
Remote control
Volume, play/stop/next, power, and camera on/off — from anywhere.

On-device sensing only; nothing about your visitors is stored.
FAQ
What hardware is required?
Any Windows mini-PC with a speaker, plus a USB webcam for motion/vision. Raspberry Pi support is on the roadmap.
Does it work offline?
Devices need internet to receive schedules and report plays, but cache audio locally to keep playing.
Is my audience recorded?
No. Vision runs on the device and produces only anonymous counts — never images or identities.
Can I run scheduled-only?
Yes. Motion is optional; a device can simply loop spots on a schedule.
